Berceste Demiroglu is the Program Director for the Antiquities Coalition. Prior to the Antiquities Coalition, Berceste worked at the Society for American Archaeology, coordinating their programs and conferences. She is fluent in Turkish and has experience as a translator.
Berceste earned her bachelors degree from the University of Virginia with a double major in archaeology and anthropology. She holds a Master of Arts in Mediterranean Archaeology from University College London. Her research was focused on the site of Nimrud in Iraq and the Assyrian trade routes.
At the Antiquities Coalition, Berceste works on implementing outreach programs, and working with the new Antiquities Coalition Think Tank. She applies her academic background to do research and write reports for new initiatives.
